BRAND & PRODUCT — SLOW FASHION LABEL
Where Fantasy Intersects with Reality.
Haus of Stone is a Zimbabwean slow-fashion house founded by Danayi Madondo in 2018. More than a label, it is a creative sanctuary built on the philosophy of "Cloth as a Portal" — the belief that textiles are sacred vessels for healing, memory, and reimagined futures.
Inspired by the fantastical and the ancestral, Haus of Stone creates understated, experiential apparel for the global conscious wanderer. The brand utilizes fashion as an immersive vehicle to narrate contemporary Zimbabwean stories, intricately infused with heritage and cultural nuances.
ALL LOST WANDERERS ARE WELCOME.

FROM @HAUSOFSTONE
The Tere Range is our dedicated waste reduction line focused on doing more with less. We repurpose offcuts and discarded textiles into detailed appliqué work, featuring signature patchwork, floral flounces, and elevated textile art.
Centered on macramé, crochet & traditional hand-loom weaving, the Ruka Range taps into the timeless craftsmanship passed down through generations. We blend traditional grandmother skills with experimental artistry to craft intricate hand-crafted pieces.
Birthed through creative experimentation and collaboration, this range combines hand-painted artwork and tie-dye methods. The result is a collection of truly unique, organic abstract motifs.
We translate craftsmanship into versatile solutions for independent brands and individual clients through two core pillars:
Precision cutting, garment construction, pattern integration, trim sourcing, and quality control for small-batch production.
Collection design for external labels, bespoke tailoring, creative styling, and costume design.
